DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE
RUGBY COLORADO DC
Rugby Colorado has established it’s own Disciplinary Committee( DC) in line with other rugby State Rugby Organizations (SROs) and in accordance with USA Rugby guidelines.

Rugby Colorado is more attuned to conduct issues involving young players, coaches, and teams than a regional DC might be.
Rugby Colorado complies with the USA/World Rugby disciplinary guidelines and monitors, tracks and publishes Red Card Rulings on the Rugby Colorado Website.
Rugby Colorado further receives and processes referee reports, pre-match rosters, Match Incident Reports, and Post-match on-line reports by coaches and referees.
Disciplinary systems are in place to protect players, coaches, referees, and spectators. These processes are broken into two distinct sections:
On the field infractions: These are infractions that happen in the flow of play or during a break in play. They occur within the playing enclosure and are subject to the Laws of the Game. The Laws and their associated penalties can be found at http://laws.worldrugby.org/. Any infractions that occur within the playing enclosure will fall under Regulation 17 disciplinary guidelines, including suggested sanctions, penalties or suspensions.
Off the field infractions: These are occurrences that happen outside the playing enclosure before, during or after games; at or around practices; between members of the state rugby organization; or between a member of the rugby organization and any other person. These offenses are predominately under World Rugby Regulation 18. Section 18.1.2 states.
A Rugby Body, Club or Person that contravenes these Regulations, brings World Rugby or the Game into disrepute, engages in conduct, behavior or practices which may be prejudicial to the interests of World Rugby or the Game, discloses any confidential information obtained through connection with the Game, or which breaches the Code of Conduct shall be subject to sanction by the Union or Association having jurisdiction in respect thereof in accordance with the bye-laws regulations, code of conduct or other undertakings or agreements of that Union or Association.
This means that the Rugby Colorado DC has broad authority to deal with both misconduct and foul play. Any sanctions ordered by the Rugby Colorado DC are to be honored in every rugby nation.
